Herbert Earley III, a 54-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on May 5, 2021, in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred at approximately 6:26 a.m. when Herbert and another individual were sitting in a silver vehicle at a Sunoco Gas Station located at 1799 E. Hudson St. A black SUV pulled into the lot and began firing into their vehicle before driving off. Herbert was rushed to Grant Hospital but was pronounced dead at 7:03 a.m.
