Paul Griffin, a 64-year-old male of unspecified ethnicity, was tragically shot and killed on November 19, 1995, in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred when Griffin opened the door of his home in Worthington, a suburb of Columbus, and was shot by Jerry Hessler, a former colleague who had been fired from the same bank where Griffin worked. Hessler had targeted Griffin and several other former colleagues in a violent spree that resulted in multiple deaths and injuries.
