Wayne Akin, a 64-year-old man, was found dead on April 17, 2023, at his apartment in Columbus, Ohio. His death was later determined to have occurred on April 13, 2023. Akin's death was initially treated as suspicious by his daughter, Christyn Akin-Crockett, who discovered his body and noticed several unusual circumstances, including missing personal items and women's clothing at the scene.
