On May 2, 2024, at approximately 3:01 p.m., Columbus Police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 700 block of Reinhard Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 20-year-old Najaa Ellman suffering from a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:08 p.m.
