On December 29, 2018, Amadi Noor Bakari, a 19-year-old male of African American ethnicity, was tragically shot and killed in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred in the 800 block of Wedgewood Drive around 9:40 p.m. When Columbus Police arrived at the scene, they found Bakari dead, and medics pronounced him dead at 10:20 p.m. The police reported that there were no known suspects at the time, and the motives behind the murder were under investigation.
