Shaquez Brunner, a 13-year-old African American boy from Columbus, OH, tragically died on June 3, 2014. Shaquez was attending Georgian Heights Elementary School and was an active member of the Bibleway Church. His death was the result of a shooting incident that occurred in the apartment of his friend, Jakairion Spikes, who was 16 years old at the time.
