On May 28, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Columbus police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1000 block of Parsons Avenue near East Whittier Street, close to the Merion Village area. Upon arrival, they discovered 36-year-old Joshua Hunt suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene at 10:51 p.m.

Following an investigation, authorities arrested 34-year-old Michael Houston in connection with Hunt's death. Houston was charged with murd ...
