Mareo Bell, a 33-year-old male from Columbus, OH, tragically died on March 11, 2022, as a result of injuries sustained during a shooting outside Podunk’s bar on East Dublin-Granville Road. Bell was one of three people shot during the incident, which occurred around 1:45 a.m. The suspect, Wayne Carvel Anthony Lee Coffman, was involved in a fight inside the bar before retrieving a gun and firing multiple shots in the parking lot.
