In the late evening of a Saturday in Savannah, Georgia, the life of 17-year-old Wayne Edwards was tragically cut short. On August 16, 2014, Edwards was behind the wheel of a car on the 1200 block of Elliott Street in the Carver Heights neighborhood. With music playing and two girls in the back seat, he had pulled over to give a friend a ride to a party. It was then that a confrontation unfolded.
