Alexis Imari Michelle DeVoe, a 17-year-old African American female, tragically lost her life on February 8, 2020, in Savannah, Georgia. Alexis was a native of Savannah and was attending A.E. Beach High School as an 11th grader at the time of her death. She was known for her dedication to her family and her role as a mother to her 5-month-old son, Jamontay Leach. Alexis was also an active member of Tremont Temple Baptist Church, where she was remembered fondly by her community.
