Samantha Sams, a 34-year-old woman from Savannah, GA, tragically lost her life on July 22, 2020. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on Whitemarsh Island, specifically in the Battery Point subdivision. Police were called to the scene at around 4 a.m., where they discovered Samantha Sams deceased with an apparent gunshot wound. The Chatham County Police Department quickly identified the victim as Samantha Sams, a 34-year-old African American woman.
