In the early morning hours of June 26, 2015, a tragedy unfolded in an East Savannah neighborhood that would claim the life of 62-year-old Rosalyn Maria Chapman. Officers from the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police were dispatched to a residence on Mosley Street at 2:44 a.m. following a report of a shooting.

Upon their arrival at the home, they were met at the door by 55-year-old Edwin Lawrence Chapman. Inside the house, police discovered two women who had been shot. Rosalyn Maria Chapma ...
