In the late hours of a December evening in Savannah, Georgia, a tragedy unfolded that would cut short the life of a young woman. On December 23, 2022, 29-year-old Ebony Ciara Drayton was shot and fatally wounded in a residence on the 500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. When police responded to the scene around 11 p.m., they found her suffering from life-threatening injuries. Despite medical attention, she succumbed to her wounds.
