On February 3, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the 300 block of Mall Boulevard in Savannah, Georgia, resulting in the death of 32-year-old Khadijah Latavia Jenkins. The incident, which marked the first homicide of the year in Chatham County, took place outside the Hideaway Sports Bar on Savannah's Southside.
