In the late hours of a Sunday night in a Stone Mountain, Georgia, neighborhood known for instances of violence, the life of 25-year-old Amber Marazio was tragically cut short. Just before midnight on July 13, 2015, police responded to calls of gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, they discovered Marazio lying on To Lani Farm Road, having sustained bullet wounds to her torso. She was found by one resident underneath his Jeep SUV. Emergency services transported her to a nearby hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries shortly after.
