A celebration of what was to be Renesha Manuel's 28th birthday turned into a tragedy that ended her life. On the evening of Saturday, July 28, 2018, the 27-year-old woman was out with friends and family at a restaurant in DeKalb County, Georgia. An argument erupted between her and her 46-year-old boyfriend, prompting him to leave the establishment and head towards her apartment.
