In the pre-dawn hours of a Saturday in September 2015, a sense of unease settled over the Shiloh Valley Overlook Apartments in Kennesaw, Georgia. It was there, in the quiet of the complex's parking lot, that the life of Stephen Kent Lindamood II, a 29-year-old male, was tragically cut short. Responding to a call of a person shot at approximately 12:30 a.m., Cobb County police officers arrived to find Lindamood lying in the parking lot, having sustained at least one gunshot wound.
