Chanté Mahogany Wilson, a 21-year-old woman from Houston, Texas, tragically lost her life on August 8, 2022. She was fatally shot while shielding her 1-year-old son from gunfire. Wilson was walking from a corner store around 1:45 a.m. when she was ambushed by 25-year-old Tranisha Latavia Miller, who fired multiple shots at her.
