Lenton Swint, a 21-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 25, 2016, in Valdosta, Georgia. Swint was found with a gunshot wound to the head at his home on Cherokee Street. Despite being transported to South Georgia Medical Center, he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. The incident was not a random act of violence but was connected to illegal drug activities.
