Allen Star, 25, a Black male, was found dead inside a North Omaha home on the night of October 21, 2024. Officers were dispatched around 8:40 p.m. to the area of North 42nd and Miami Streets on a “nature unknown” call and discovered Star “found in blood” within the residence, prompting them to shut down the intersection for hours while detectives processed the scene. Police immediately treated the case as a homicide.
