Allen Star, 25, a Black male, was found dead inside a North Omaha home on the night of October 21, 2024. Officers were dispatched around 8:40 p.m. to the area of North 42nd and Miami Streets on a ï nature unknownï call and discovered Star ï found in bloodï within the residence, prompting them to shut down the intersection for hours while detectives processed the scene. Police immediately treated the case as a homicide.
