Jacob Britt, a 19-year-old male from Augusta, GA, tragically lost his life on May 31, 2016. Jacob, who was white, was shot during a robbery in the parking lot of the Bon Air Apartments on Walton Way. The incident occurred when Jacob and a friend met with Brandon Stevenson, who climbed into the backseat of Jacob's car, shot him in the back, and demanded their belongings. Jacob was taken to Emory University Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries on July 30, 2016.
