In the early hours of a June morning in Macon, Georgia, a confrontation between two men ended in the tragic death of 34-year-old Tyrell Jordan. The African American male was fatally shot on June 21, 2016, at the Sandy Springs Apartments on Bloomfield Drive. The incident unfolded when Jordan went to the apartment of his ex-girlfriend, Tranzey Johnson, where her new boyfriend, Frederick Johnson Jr., was present. An altercation ensued between the two men.
