Wesley Jaquan Alectus Jr., a 22-year-old African American male, tragically passed away on April 2, 2016, in Macon, Georgia. Wesley's death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He succumbed to his injuries the following morning at Navicent Health Hospital, as confirmed by Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones. The incident occurred in West Macon, and despite efforts to save him, Wesley was pronounced dead at 11:10 AM on April 3, 2016.
