Kadijah Adkinson, a 22-year-old African American woman from Adel, Georgia, tragically lost her life on June 22, 2016. The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. on Guy Street, where Kadijah was fatally shot. At the time of her death, Kadijah was pregnant, adding a further layer of tragedy to the incident. The shooting not only claimed her life but also that of her unborn child.
