Malik Hassan McAllister, a 43-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on July 17, 2016, in Albany, Georgia. The incident occurred in the 1900 block of West Gordon, where McAllister was gunned down. The Albany Police Department's Robbery/Homicide Unit, led by Lt. Keithen Hall, solicited community tips to assist with making arrests in connection to McAllister's death. Despite efforts to gather information from the public, the case remained unresolved for some time.
