On July 5, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred outside a nightclub located at 312 Thornton Drive in Albany, Georgia. The incident took place in the early morning hours, with police being called to the scene around 2 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Daveyon Wakefield, a 21-year-old male, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds.
