On March 31, 2023, 17-year-old Keshawn Davinell Hunt lost his life to gun violence in Albany, Georgia. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Willowwood Drive, where Hunt was fatally shot.

Following the homicide, the Albany Police Department launched an investigation and made an arrest on April 1, 2023.
