Lawaun Jermaine Flournoy, a 38-year-old Black male, was tragically shot and killed on the night of August 26, 2016, in Augusta, Georgia. The incident occurred around 11:30 PM on Dugas Street. According to Deputy Coroner Kenneth Boose, Flournoy was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
