On January 28, 2017, J'Kobe Wilkerson, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in Duluth, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Bridgewater Apartments on Ridge Brook Trail. Police were called to the scene around 5:15 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found J'Kobe Wilkerson deceased in the breezeway of the apartment complex.
