Deniro Arness Smith, a 22-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on March 9, 2017, in Statesboro, Georgia. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Grove Apartments on Brampton Avenue. On that fateful night, the Statesboro Police Department responded to reports of shots fired just before 11 PM.
