Blake Shurling, a 20-year-old male student from Georgia Southern University, tragically lost his life on August 31, 2016, in Statesboro, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at a residence on Planters Lane. Upon arrival, Bulloch County deputies discovered Blake Shurling deceased from a gunshot wound. The investigation revealed that alcohol played a significant role in the events leading up to the shooting.
