Brian David Diaz, a 22-year-old male from Statesboro, GA, was found dead on the night of September 26, 2021, at his apartment in the Stadium Walk complex. The Statesboro Police Department (SPD) responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 9:40 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Diaz deceased inside his apartment, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
