Jamaryce Taquan Ahmadge Mincey, a 23-year-old resident of Statesboro, Georgia, lost his life to gun violence on February 29, 2024. He was found dead along with another individual, Christopher Joyce, 20, formerly of McDonough, at the Days Inn in Statesboro. The bodies were discovered around 8:30 p.m. after management conducted a welfare check in their room.
