In a Statesboro, Georgia motel room, a grim discovery was made on the evening of February 29, 2024. Jamaryce Taquan Ahmadge Mincey, a 23-year-old male, was found deceased alongside another man, Christopher Joyce, at the Days Inn. The two men had been shot, and their bodies were discovered by hotel management during a welfare check around 8:30 p.m. Although both victims were armed, investigators determined there had been no exchange of gunfire.
