In the summer of 2020, the life of 30-year-old Brandon McCray was cut short by a single gunshot wound in his Statesboro, Georgia, residence. On the morning of June 5th, police were dispatched to a home on Bea Dot Way following a report of a man shot. Inside, they discovered McCray deceased. The investigation into his death quickly focused on his live-in girlfriend, 25-year-old Ashlynn Zipporah Griffin.
