On December 21, 2024, a tragic shooting occurred in Bulloch County, Georgia, resulting in the death of 17-year-old Johnny Lairscy and serious injury to his father, 42-year-old Jarrell "Jay" Lairscy Sr. The incident took place at their residence near the intersection of Highway 46 and Waters Cemetery Road in the Nevils area.
