In the spring of 2017, the life of Dudley Jones Jr., a 44-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short. On the evening of April 1st, Jones was found shot in the driveway of a residence on Ticknor Drive in Columbus, Georgia. The discovery marked another grim statistic in the city's record of gun violence.
