An African American male, Jamareion was outside his home when he was tragically struck by a shotgun blast to the chest. The young boy was rushed to Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital, but his injuries were too severe, and he was pronounced dead at 7:59 p.m.
The Muscogee County Deputy Coroner confirmed the cause of death as a gunshot wound, and his body was sent to Atlanta for an autopsy.
