On a spring afternoon in Columbus, Georgia, the life of 16-year-old Lamarion Wright was tragically cut short. On May 22, 2020, the young male was found with a fatal gunshot wound on Belmont Street, near the Wilson Apartments. A student at Jordan Vocational High School, where he was a member of the basketball team, his sudden death sent ripples of grief through his family and the community.
