Jahwon Armstead, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on November 28, 2017, in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. in the 4200 block of Curry Street. According to the Muscogee County Coroner, Buddy Bryan, Jahwon Armstead was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Midtown Medical Center at 10:19 p.m. This marked the 39th homicide in Columbus for the year 2017.
