In the late afternoon of August 3, 2017, a confrontation on the 1000 block of West 35th Street in Savannah, Georgia, tragically cut short the life of 21-year-old Dontray JaRon Hart. The young man, a resident of Georgia, was found by responding Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police officers around 4:30 p.m. suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.
