Emmanuel Stroud Jr., a 24-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on September 16, 2017, in Macon, Georgia. The incident occurred just before midnight when Emmanuel Jr. was walking on Walmar Drive. He was shot in the abdomen and the left side of his head. Despite being rushed to Navicent Health, he was pronounced dead early on Sunday morning. This tragic event marked Macon's 20th homicide of the year.
