Euel Thomas Smith Sr., a 36-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on April 22, 1983, in Macon, Georgia. Officer Smith was serving with the Bibb County Board of Education Police Department at the time of his death. He was a dedicated police officer and a U.S. Navy veteran who had served in the Vietnam War.
