In the winter of 2018, the life of a young Atlanta woman, Lanecia Nelson, was tragically cut short at the age of 24. A female, Nelson was reported missing by her family on Tuesday, February 13th. The search for her came to a heartbreaking end in the early hours of the following day, Wednesday, February 14th, when her body was discovered on a wooded trail near a charter school in southwest Atlanta.
