In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in September 2021, a tragedy unfolded at the Glen Iris Lofts in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward, forever altering the lives of two families. Responding to a call shortly before 2 a.m. on September 7th, Atlanta police discovered a grim scene inside one of the apartments on Glen Iris Drive. A man, later identified as 21-year-old Andrew Davis, was found deceased from a gunshot wound.
A young woman, 22-year-old LaDonna Judkins, was also found suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency services rushed LaDonna to the hospital in critical condition. Despite the efforts of medical professionals, she succumbed to her injuries.
