In a tragic turn of events that unfolded in Rome, Georgia, 30-year-old Crystal Dawn Vega, a mother of five, lost her life in June 2018. Just ten days after giving birth to her fifth child, Vega was found with a gunshot wound to the head in her apartment on West 13th Street. The incident occurred in the presence of two of her young children.
