Iris Dail Edwards, a 51-year-old woman from Woodstock, Georgia, was fatally shot on Saturday, March 4, 2023, in Rome, Georgia. The incident occurred at a residence on Shadowbrook Drive, where Edwards was found in the backyard with a single gunshot wound to the chest. Despite attempts by another woman to perform life-saving techniques, Edwards was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner’s office.
