David Deshun Cooper, a 24-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 17, 2018, in Athens, Georgia. The incident occurred at Perry's Convenience Store on Cedar Shoals Drive. According to police reports, Cooper was shot multiple times during an altercation. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
