Demetrius Laralpheal Pope, a 21-year-old African American male from Athens, GA, tragically passed away on November 1, 2021. The Athens-Clarke County Police Department responded to a call at 10:54 PM regarding a shooting incident in the 200 Block of Martin Circle.
