In the summer of 2018, a tragic series of events led to the death of Cynthia Ann Fields, a 60-year-old Black/African American woman, inside her own home in Savannah, Georgia. On the evening of July 27th, what should have been a quiet night was shattered by the sound of gunfire, forever altering the lives of her family and community.
