On September 15, 2024, 71-year-old Deborah Lynn Lunsford Hudson was found deceased in her Savannah, Georgia, home from an apparent gunshot wound. Authorities believe the incident was a murder-suicide involving her younger sister, 70-year-old Deloris "DeeDee" Lorraine Hooker. Witnesses reported that Hooker entered the residence, shot Hudson, and then turned the gun on herself.
